iOS and Android devices that are eSIM-compatible and unlocked can be used with eSIM Australia. Before ordering, ensure your device is compatible and unlocked. How long should I wait for eSIM QR Code after payment?
Once the payment is completed, you can expect to receive the eSIM QR code via email within 5 to 15 minutes. In case you haven’t received your eSIM plan within 15 minutes, we recommend checking your spam or promotion folder first. If you still haven’t found it, please reach out to us at [email protected] for assistance.
Should I order and activate an eSIM before traveling?
You can purchase an eSIM at your convenience, either one day before your travel date or upon arrival at your destination. Most of our eSIM plans will start as soon as you connect to local network. Before you leave, you can scan the QR code and install the eSIM in advance. 24 hours is counted as 1 day and counted continuously from the point of service activation. Please note that eSIM Australia & Asia 6GB will start as soon as you have installed the eSIM on your device.
Additionally, please ensure that to install the eSIM, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or a cellular data network.
Can I make voice calls and send SMS with the eSIM plan?
Unfortunately, voice calls and SMS are not available with the eSIM plan offered on eSIM Australia website. The eSIM Australia plans are specifically designed for data usage and do not come with a local mobile number. We recommend using Skype or WhatsApp if you need to make a call or send the messages.
Can I make a payment besides a PayPal?
